Subject: Separation of any mixture of hues

Purpose: Purpose: To determine and perform the separation of combination of solids through different means. Examples are magnetisms, evaporation, and filtration Procedure: I actually used a measuring system such as a scale, funnel, beaker, magnet, saucer, and graduated cylinder to determine the values for every single measurement. A. I would personally have applied the magnet to separate iron fillings because suggested in the lab. Yet I would possess used the filter daily news second to separate sand coming from rest of the option rather than evaporation. B. Major disadvantages would have been not every the benzoic acid will pass through the filter conventional paper which will make our method more difficult. C. Contamination of the other substances left in the yellow sand. D. Personally i think there are four errors; 1 . Not completely moving flat iron out with magnet. 2 . When serving acid sodium mixture into funnel a few of the acid uric acid stuck towards the cup which will made it difficult to get all sample out. 3. Some of the benzoic acid might have that passes the filtration paper in to the salt drinking water mixture. 5. Not appropriate dissolving the salt when separating it from the sand giving salt inside the sand mixture. Conclusion: Whenever using various means of separating a mix (magnetisms, evaporation, and filtration) it is possible to get accurate measurements of each and every particular materials. However we have a high potential for error if care can be not currently taking due to a number of reasons enumerated above
